If you ask 10 different IT guys what software they felt was the best to protect a system, you’ll get 10 different answers.

There are hundreds if not thousands of software packages, website, and gurus, that can scan your system looking for all of those Internet nasties that plague you. Some are good, some are bad, and some are in and of themselves the very nasties you seek to avoid. Most IT pros have a tool box with the software they have come to know and understand, and in the end, a real IT pro regardless of what software he uses can clear the nasties off a system.

So don’t think this is the only answer, it’s just our answer. We publish these mainly so people can get to them at our instruction. Please do not use these unless you are told by us to do so, OR you know what you’re doing and are smart enough to know that you can’t hold us at fault if you mess your system up on your own.
