What is “Outsourcing”

Posted by admin  Published in The Tabor Consulting Group

Small Scale Business Outsourcing

A term that is used a lot in business today is “outsourcing”. Like many new business terms, it’s often over used and poorly understood, and as a result creates some confusion. Simply put, to “Outsource” a task is hire someone to do that task for you who is not an employee of your company or business. On a large scale businesses will “Outsource” tasks such as customer support or marketing. However outsourcing can benefit for small-to-medium size businesses just as it can benefit larger national or multi-national corporations.

In a since you may already be “Outsourcing” some of your ancillary business tasks already. Hiring a lawn service to maintain your grass, or going to local print shop to have business cards printed are forms of outsourcing.

What the Tabor Consulting Group Seeks to do is to save you time and money by taking burdens off you and free you up to focus on doing what makes you money. We do the work rather than you wasting time on mundane business task or having to manage employees to do those tasks.
